Angela is a Communication Strategist and Journalist with 26 years of successful experience in Crisis Prevention and Management as well as Political, Corporate, and Internal Communication.
With a resume that ranges from field journalism to PR, she enjoys a reputation of tenaciously protecting her clients’ interests. Marking one of her most notable co-operations, is her representation of Hard Rock International with regards to their participation in the International Tender for the Integrated Resort Casino near Athens.
Previously,she assumed the role of Media Relations Consultant with Delphi Economic Forum IV and the 3rd EU-Arab World Summit. In 2012, she served as the Press Officer at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Hellenic Parliament acting as a liaison between the government and the media.
Her first international endeavor was the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church, a historic religious event targeting an audience of 250 million people worldwide. As the Communication Director, she led a multinational team of media experts and moderated the daily live streaming press briefings broadcast worldwide.
She started her career with broadcast media. Covering and live broadcasting major breaking news stories in Greece and abroad for more than 15 years, she gained extensive experience and impressive references in many fields. Angela holds a Bachelor’s in Communication and Mass Media from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
With 14 years of working experience in the event and public relations industry, Elena is an experienced senior conference and event professional. She has a proven track record of successfully running high-profile events, including large scale virtual events.
Elena spent five years as the Project Manager of Delphi Economic Forum, where she thrived with a genuine passion for her work, by displaying her ability to work effectively under pressure with confidence, engagement and efficiency; She was dedicated to achieving ever improving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Prior to joining the Delphi Economic Forum, Elena also worked with the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a Trade Fair Representative for more than 7 years, and was the Public Relations Manager of the 5*star Royal Marmin Bay Boutique & Art Hotel in Elounda, Greece.
Having a demonstrated history of working in the event, PR and tourism sector, she is a professional with strong skills in event strategy and management, who works with pride and enthusiasm to deliver hands on coordination of projects with successful results.
